Four of our Red Hat Society group attended a Social with all of the members from the Sun & Fun R.V. Resort. They were Irene Zarrillo, Betty Klemik, Gladys Bowman and Liz Bond. We were introduced as an outside group who attended. It was by invitation. We were seated at a table with large decorative plates of all finger foods. Too pretty to eat, almost. The deserts were beautiful and tasted good as well. Entertainment was a double quartet of the Sweet Adelines and the Suncoast Mummers String Band of Bradenton. Betty Klemik could hardly stay in her seat when the Mummers got started as she lived in Pennsylvania and knew the music well. The costumes were so beautiful. It was a great afternoon in a place full of hospitality. Remember: "you don't stop laughing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop laughing." Submitted by Liz Bond |
