October 5 - Tuesday

President, Mr. Ed takes over at the coffee hour with a attendance of 45. Mary Ryman introduced Barb and Al Thomas from Scranton, PA.  They live at 101 Loren Dr. 
   
Judy takes over as sunshine lady this morning.  

October 12 - Tuesday

There were 40 at the coffee hour today. It was good to have new residents Sandy and Bob O'Daniel with us this morning.

October 19 - Tuesday

Ed Marian conducted his duties as president to a group of 47 residents at the coffee hour this morning. Each week more and more are returning.

October 21 - Thursday

This gator was spotted today in the Mossy Oak Pond south of Jason Drive by Gene Mathes and Mike Delaney around noon today. It is a little hard to judge the size but appears to be about 4 feet long.
 

October 24 - Sunday

Even Alma joins in at the great times at the gazebo. Come join us.

October 25 - Monday

There were 17 at the first beach party of the season. Lots of good food and all had a great time. The hot dogs were especially welcome as our hunger grew. Following the meal most went to the beach area and relaxed.

October 26 - Tuesday

There were 62 at coffee this morning. Lots of people returning. This was Ed's last coffee as president. Mary Ryman introduced Carol and Ed Foltz from Chambersburg, PA.

October 28 - Thursday

There were about two dozen residents that gathered at the gazebo tonight for a grand time of fellowship and laughter. They ordered five large pizzas from Hungry Howie's and cleaned up every bite. What a great time together.

October 30 - Saturday

Hostess Anne Hubert welcomed the  guests to the Halloween pot luck tonight at the clubhouse. Gene Mathes led the group in prayer before the meal.
   
There were 70 attending the pot luck tonight.  
   
Plenty of food of all varieties, and it was all delicious. The four judges for the costume judging were, from left, Betty Klimek, Ray Bergeron, Joyce Mansfield and Fred St. James.
   
Those participating in the costume competition were: Jerry Coddens - werewolf, Theresa Coddens - pirate,  Mike Delaney - nerd, Jean  Delaney - Mardi Gras queen, Mary Ryman - witch, Eleanor Thorensen - Queen, Dweight Holden - ketchup, Bobbi Holden mustard, Judy Marian - Bonnie and Ed Marian - Clod. Almost all were winners in one of the categories.
