Thinking of you all on Memorial Day

I was a guest of the American legion in the town parade. I got to ride in a Cadillac convertible. Our home here is now listed with a real estate group.

June 8 - Tuesday

There were 27 of us shared in the pancake breakfast this morning. The volunteers that did such a great job were: Bobbie Holden, Mary Lou Lira, Ward Young, Grace Sherry. Marti Gauthier Audrey Young and Ed Schattschneider.

June 15 - Tuesday

There were 30 at the coffee hour this morning. Gene Mathes led the meeting in the absence of Marti.

After the coffee hour the Hurricane Preparedness Committee met to plan for the hurricane season.

June 22 - Tuesday

There were 26 at coffee this morning. Jason Warrington talked to the group concerning park security.

June 28 - Monday

There were 8 at the pool party this afternoon. As you can see we didn't use the pool. Most of the time it was raining so we just stayed inside. We were outside long enough to cook the hotdogs.

There were enough of us to provide a nice selection of great food. Nobody brought deserts. Just as well, we really don't need that. A good time of fellowshipping together.

June 29 - Tuesday

There were 24 at the coffee hour this morning. Our leader, Marti, was the only one present with a birthday during the coming week so she stepped aside and enjoyed being sung to while Gene led the group with "Happy Birthday".
