October 1 - Wednesday

Ray Bergeron was there to start off the first Bingo of the season tonight at the clubhouse.

October 7 - Tuesday

There were 45 at coffee this morning. Again I got most of the people to look at me when I took their picture.

October 14 - Tuesday

More people are returning each week. We are now up to 51 people at coffee.

October 15 - Wednesday

Jim Jaeger led a memorial service today for Bob Gordon who recently passed away.

Our sunshine lady, Marti Gauthier had many good things to say about Bob.

Mike Delaney and many others from the audience shared their memories of Bob.

Afterwards everyone shared in a great lunch together.

It was a good time to fellowship together and to share our good memories.

October 17 - Friday

There were 13 at the pool this afternoon. That is Blanche Sargent sitting in the shade. Nice day for the pool but some wish the water was a little warmer.

October 21 - Tuesday

There were 57 at coffee this morning. It is good to see some of our friends returning. We missed them.

October 27 - Monday

There were 15 at the beach party at Siesta Beach this morning which started at 10:30 am.

The weather was cool but the sun was warm. Coats and sweaters felt better than bathing suits.

At noon we had the usual great lunch together.

We all had a great time visiting and enjoying the crisp air.

Gene Mathes led the group in a sing-a-long following the meal.

October 28 - Tuesday

There were 65 at coffee this morning.

This was the last coffee hour led by outgoing president Mike Delaney. He looks quite happy about that.

Mary Ryman introduced new resident Lowell Matheny who lives at 122 Jeffrey Circle.

October 31 - Friday Halloween

Tonight was our Halloween pot luck with 67 present.

As always there was lots of great food.

The desert table was overflowing with fabulous deserts.

There were 13 that entered the costume contest.

They were all very good.

The judges did not have an easy time of it.
