June 5 - Tuesday

There were 36 at coffee this morning.

June 12 - Tuesday

There were 33 at this month's pancake breakfast. Here is the great kitchen crew.
 
Gene Mathes filled in for the president, Pat Myers, who was on vacation this week.

June 14 - Thursday

Our flag dedication took place at the flag pole in front of the gazebo today at 11 am. Gene Mathes, lower right, opened with prayer.  Charlie Parkes, upper left, organized the event. He along with Irene Zarrillo, lower left, and Betty Delanois, upper right,  presented the history of the American Flag. There were about 20 in attendance.

June 15 - Friday

Mom and Dad are having a great time visiting their new twin Great-granddaughters and wanted me to send you a couple of pictures to share with folks at Orange Acres.

June 23 - Saturday

Fifteen Orange Acres residents traveled by bus to the Broadway Palms in Ft. Myers today with Ship & Shore Travel.  
   
We all enjoyed "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" The play was very good but quite different than some of us remembered seeing before.
   
The entire production was set to music. The musical is based on the biblical story of the Jewish nation settling into Egypt.  

June 25 - Monday

There were 23 attending the pool party tonight at 4:30 pm. Many had a great time just hanging out in the pool.  
   
At 6 pm we gathered in the clubhouse for our meal. Always a lot of great food. After the meal we had a sing-a-long lead by Gene Mathes.

June 26 - Tuesday

There were 33 at coffee this morning.
