April 3 - Tuesday

There were 123 at the coffee hour this morning.
   
Edna and Dave Mongeau, Standing, had lots of family at coffee this morning. In front of Edna & Dave is daughter Kristi McCray with son Trevor. At right is their daughter Kim Shields with her children Ansley next to her and Yoli and Rhegon across from her. Nancy & Ralph Bush bought a home outside of Orange Acres and to say good by to their friends, they bought the donuts this morning.
 
Greg & Tracy Hostetler's son Ron was promoted to Eagle Scout at a ceremony at the clubhouse tonight. There were about 110 in attendance.

April 9 - Monday

There were 73 at the monthly FMO meeting which was held at Orange Acres this month. This was the last FMO meeting of this season.  
   
Our chaplain Jim Jaeger opened the meeting with prayer. Park owner Jeff Warrington and our FMO representative Sterling Emerson welcomed the group to our park.
 

April 10 - Tuesday

There were 100 at coffee this morning. The attendance is decreasing as the snowbirds start to leave.  
   
Jeff Warrington again showed the Orange Acres shirts that are for sale. Also displayed was the Orange Acres ball caps. Jeff presented Jean Delaney with a check for one month's rent for assisting in the sale of a home.

April 12 - Thursday

There were about 110 at the pot luck tonight. As usual lots of great food and fellowship.
 
Chairperson Mary Lou Lira welcomed the crowd.

 

Earle Brennan provide the organ music for the all Orange Acres entertainment tonight.

April 17 - Tuesday

There were 77 at coffee this morning. This was the last day to donate to Living Water - El Salvador. We made our goal today collecting a total of $20,000 which will place 4 wells in El Salvador. You all did a great job. Congratulations.

April 21 - Saturday

A good relaxing time in the gazebo on a great evening. Seen here are, from left, Marge Phelan, Anne Subrizi, Hattie & Bob Wiskeman, Edie Hohler and Phyllis & Ralph Haas.

April 22 - Sunday

A beautiful day for some good old fashioned fun in the pool.

April 24 - Tuesday

There were 101 at coffee this morning.

April 30 - Monday

We had a pool party today instead of the usual beach party. There were 36 in attendance. A great time.  
   
At 6 pm we had a meal with lots of great food. A great time of fellowship and eating.
   
Following the meal Tony Zarrillo, Dick Vierus and Gene Mathes provided special music and led the sing-a-long.
