There
were 122 at the pot luck tonight. As usual the food was great and plentiful.
Entertainment
Chairperson Irene Zarrillo introduced the entertainers for tonight. |
The
Flurrys did a great job of entertaining us with lots of old songs and good
jokes. |
There
was a good crowd on hand tonight for the coronation of the new King and Queen.
Of
course refreshments followed as at all events in Orange Acres.
There
were 10 that participated in the Bike Ride to the Mall today at 11 am. They are,
from left to right, Lorraine Labonte, in back her friends Bob & Jan Wilkinson,
in front Joan Kapp's daughter Jodi Phinney, Becky Ciraulo, Jim Lessard, Tom
Studer, Gene Mathes and Phyllis & Ralph Haas.
Joining
the group for lunch in the food court at the mall were Joan Kapp and Mary
Lessard at the far end on the left. It was indeed a fine day for the bike ride.
There
were 152 at coffee this morning. The donuts were paid for by the four Shriners
who live in Orange Acres.

was provided by our trio consisting of Joan Kapp, Alice Vierus and Dick
Vierus. |

Anne Hubert presented each couple with an anniversary cake. |
There
were 158 people at the Ice Cream Social tonight |
They
patiently awaited their servings. |
The
serving people did a great job of getting everyone through. After the ice
cream there were about 50 of them stayed to watch the movie "Cinderella
Man." |
There
were 32 men at the men's luncheon today at Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club.
Chairman
Reg Tays did a great job of organizing it. |
Kent
Armstrong won the door prize for dinner for two at Stoneybrook. |
Moe
Warrington Gave a presentation of his work with "Living Water International" in
El Salvador. It was a great presentation and everyone enjoyed it.

which a change to the bylaws was approved making the term of all offices one
year instead of two.
