These pictures progress from top to bottom

August 1 - Monday

Lorraine Labonte sent this picture of the Red Hat group she belongs to up north. They are from Woonsocket, RI and are the "Blackstone Valley Belles". Lorraine is kneeling on the right. The last four standing on the right are, left to right, Lucille Fontaine, Claudette Aubin, Joan Russell and Janice Fregeole. If you don't know, Joan Russell is also a resident of Orange Acres.

August 2 - Tuesday

There were 35 at coffee this morning. Irene Zarrillo filled in for Liz Bond as Sunshine Lady while Liz is traveling. New full time residents Jimmie and Louise Johnson were at coffee for the first time today. They will be having a yard sale on August 13 at their home, 141 Shirley drive.

August 9 - Tuesday

There were 39 at coffee this morning.

A new home arrived this morning for lot 155.

August 12 - Friday

Here are some scenes of the clubhouse tenting in progress. This shows the first area tented closest to the pool. Notice the workers on the roof posing for the picture. The back side by the shuffle board courts were then covered.

Finally the two story part was covered and this shows the office area being finished.

August 13 - Saturday

This was the tented clubhouse Saturday morning. It was all uncovered Saturday afternoon.

August 16 - Tuesday

There were 43 at coffee this morning.

August 17 - Wednesday

There were 45 that attended the Pizza Party tonight. Everyone had all they could eat of the 15 pizzas with one pizza left over.

We had 35 people stay for the movie "Somethings Gotta Give" and everyone thought it was great. It was a great evening all around.

August 20 - Saturday

There were 35 in attendance at the dance tonight. Some people danced but most just listened to the great songs of the 50's.

August 23 - Tuesday

There were 46 at coffee this morning. It was good to see Greg Ferritto and Jerry Meehan back again.

August 29 - Monday

There were 11 at the pool party this evening. We first played in the water. At 6 pm we ate in the clubhouse. The weather outside was great but we got used to eating inside and liked it. We had a sing-a-long after the meal.

August 30 - Tuesday

There were 50 at coffee this morning but again I forgot to take a picture.
