April 5 - Tuesday

There were 106 present at the coffee hour this morning. Following coffee, financial advisor from First State Bank, Bill Hahn talked to the group about CD rates and the need to have your finances reviewed.

April 7 - Thursday

There were about 80 at the last regular pot luck of the season.  
     
Chairperson Pat Tays did a great job organizing the pot luck. Dick Vierus opened with prayer.

Irene Zarrillo introduce the entertainment of Barb & Ed.

   
Barb & Ed put on a good show with lots of old songs and participation by the audience.  

April 10 - Sunday

  There were 45 at the vesper salad supper tonight at the clubhouse. After the meal, Mildred Steinbaugh led everyone in a sing-a-long and then Joe stump delivered a fine message.  

April 11 - Monday

The April FMO meeting was held in our hall today with about 85 attending. We had good representation from our community.

 

   
These are the FMO officers.

Their attorney,Harland Domber, spoke about Florida law concerning manufactured home owners. It was a very informative meeting.


April 12 - Tuesday

There were 112 at coffee this morning. I almost waited too long to get a picture. This shows everyone leaving the coffee hour.

April 15 - Friday

 

The new curtains were installed in the clubhouse today. These are the curtains in the open position. This is what they look like closed. The curtains to the left are only used for performances when traffic to the stage needs to be hidden.
   

This is the house on lot #198 which is ready to be pulled out.

 

April 16 - Saturday

The house on lot #198 was completely dismantled this morning.  

April 19 - Tuesday

There were 98 at coffee this morning. We are loosing about ten a week at the coffee hour.

 

 

April 25 - Monday

There were 26 at the beach party today.  The food was great and so was the company.

 

Gene & Dick Led th singing and the crowd did the Hokey Pokey.

April 26 - Tuesday

There were 82 at coffee this morning.  

 


April 28 - Thursday

A group of 20 Orange Acres residents went to the Brawdway Palm Dinner Theatre in Ft. Myers to see the production of "Miss Saigon". The food was great and the performance was outstanding. They went on the bus with "Ship & Shore".
