There were 9 from Orange Acres attending the Christian Retreat Jamboree east of Bradenton tonight. The jamboree was great but we were disappointed because the 9 pm breakfast buffet was cancelled due to the cafeteria being reserved by another group. This jamboree is held the first Saturday night of each month from 7 to 9 pm and is free. It is a real treat.

Jul21HughSpinneyOutOfAction.jpg (73036 bytes) HI Folks:   Hugh had his hand operated on Monday and is doing  OK.  The operation was to remove nodules in his left hand which wrapped around the tendon causing the finger to bend towards the palm.  The operation was a success and he has to keep the hand above his heart for the next 4 weeks.  He has an appointment with the surgeon on the 28th and he hopes then he will be able to go back to normal.  Time will tell.  Thanks for your concern,  Hugh & Faye
