Bike Ride to the Mall resumed today with only Gene Mathes and Jim Lessard
participating. Mary Lessard and Joan Kapp met them there for lunch.

first Aquacise Aerobics of the season got underway this morning with 15
attending.

There
were 85 at coffee this morning.

Fran
Walton announced that our park now has a chapter of "The Red Hat
Society" and will be meeting at the clubhouse on Friday October 17 to start
it off. All ladies of the park are invited to come and learn what it is all
about. The name of this chapter is "Scarlet Macaws".

There were 30 ladies at the first meeting of the Red Hat Society for Orange Acres residents this afternoon. The name of this chapter is "Scarlet Macaws". They planned a luncheon for November 18 at Sugar and Spice Resturant and a seven day cruise with other Red Hat chapters for February 8 through 15, 2004. Other activities for the future were also discussed. For more information, contact Alice Vierus. |

were 90 at coffee this morning. We voted for the name of the park where the

just enjoyed the show. All had a great meal.

Bowman introduced Peggy Mead who had her 69th wedding anniversary a week ago
today. Her husband Don, now in a nursing home, could not be with us today.
