April 1 - Tuesday

There were 142 at coffee this morning.

Guests this morning were, top row, Don and Sandy Watkins, friends of Melva and Gene Mathes. Second row, Marilyn Smith, friend of Ann Lee Welker. Mike and Jean Delaney's daughter Kathy Willes and husband Roger.

April 3 - Thursday

There were 152 at the fish fry tonight. Earle Brennan entertained us with organ music before the dinner.

April 4 - Friday

Those that took the Bike Ride to the Mall today were: Gene Mathes, Jim Lessard, Don Watkins (visitor), Mary Lessard, George Labonte, Phyllis & Ralph Haas, Nancy & Ralph Bush and Lorraine Labonte.

April 6 - Sunday

There were about 75 in attendance at the Jamboree-in-the-Park at 2 pm today.

Those in the band were Lew Gorzycki, Earle Brennan, Dick Vierus, Nancy and Fred Jacobs and Gene Mathes. Due to a failure with the sound system many had problems hearing.

April 8 - Tuesday

We had 111 at coffee this morning. The snowbirds are beginning to leave.

Joe Stump made this lighthouse lamp and gave it to the association to be raffled off.

The lamp was won by Gene Mathes. The raffle earned $86 for the association.

April 13 - Sunday

We had 38 at the vesper salad supper tonight.

April 14 - Monday

This alligator was seen behind 146 Shirley Drive today. That is the home of Mike and Jean Delaney. This gator appeared to be at least two foot long but less than three.

We had 95 at coffee this morning. We are losing about 10 a week.

April 28 - Monday

There were 29 in attendance at the final beach party of the season It was a perfect day for a beach party. Many met at the pool after leaving the beach.

April 29 - Tuesday

There were 66 at coffee this morning. This was Gladys's last morning with coffee until September 15. Our vice president, Gene Mathes, will be in charge starting next Tuesday.

Liz Bond has been filling in for the sunshine lady, Norma Finnegan. Liz thinks that Norma will return next week. Liz Has done a great job in Norma's absence.
